Delete your Montjoy
App account
You can only delete your account from
inside the Montjoy App.
Before you can delete your account, we
will ask you to verify your identity using a temporary verification code. This
will require you to have a phone number or e-mail address attached to your
account.
Steps to delete your
account from the Montjoy App
1. Open the Montjoy App
2. Sign into your account and tap the menu icon at the top
left
3. Select “Settings,” then “Privacy settings”
4. Tap “Delete Account”
5. Select a reason for your account deletion request
6. Confirm your request by entering ‘DELETE’ into the text
box
7. Follow the remaining steps in the app to complete the
account deletion process

App account:
NOTE 1: Deleting your account is a permanent action that
completely wipes your personal data in accordance with Your Privacy Rights. A
deleted account cannot be recovered after 30 days.
After completing the deletion process
above, your account will be immediately deactivated. After 30 days it will be
permanently deleted, and all saved videos, chats, unused credits, promotions,
and rewards will be removed and will be unable to be recovered or restored.
Montjoy App, LLC may retain certain
information after account deletion as required or permitted by applicable law.
If you change your mind and want to keep/reopen
your account, you can restore it by signing into your original Montjoy App
account within 30 days of deactivation/deletion.
In some cases, we will be unable to
initially delete your account. This may apply if there is an issue with your
account related to trust, safety, or fraud.
NOTE 2: Montjoy App, LLC operates its service only in the USA. Montjoy
App accounts and information are not covered by the EU General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR).
NOTE 3: Under CCPA - California Consumer Privacy Act: This
empowers California residents to request that a business delete the
data/personal information it has on you. The business is legally required to
delete the consumer's personal information from its records and direct any
service providers to delete the data too. Failure of a business to comply with
the CCPA can result in fines of up to $7,500 per violation.
